Strength Comparison - These ratings are nothing more than an overall listing of where a particular hero falls on the scale in comparison to other heroes on the same scale. If a hero is in an entirely different class than other heroes then he is subclassed within a particular group.

Meta Class A - 100+ Tons, virtually unlimited strength
Meta Class B - Anything weighing up to 100 tons can be lifted.
Meta Class C - 50 to 100 tons
Meta Class D - 10 to 50 tons
Meta Class E - 2 to 10 tons
Meta Class F - 200 pounds to 4000 pounds (2 tons)

Technology Ratings - This describes in a nebulous way how a particular technology relates to current Earth technology. Most of the technology that comes from off-world remains in the hands of a select few.

Tech Class A - Structured Matter Age - teleporter technology, matter=energy
Tech Class B - Nanotech Age - molecular science, biological computers
Tech Class C - Information Age - computer age, silicon computers
Tech Class D - Industrial Age Earth - assembly lines, precomputer age
Tech Class E - Renaissance Age - clockworks, simple levers, pulleys
Tech Class F - Stone Age - Primitive tools, no metals, barely fire using
